Carpet Shampoo

Extracto is a concentrated, low-foaming carpet cleaning product for use with cold or hot water extraction machines or steam cleaning units. It is formulated with wetting agents, water softeners, penetrants, detergents, defoamers and optical brighteners. This multi-functional product is designed for cleaning carpets, rugs and upholstery. Due to the complexity of the formulation, this product can be used to clean water-soluble soils such as dirt, coffee, cola and grass stains, as well as oil-based matter such as grease, oils and lipstick. The defoamer in the formulation helps to prevent over-foaming in the recovery tank of the cleaning equipment. Optical brighteners act to restore original color and balance to carpet and upholstery.

Directions:
DO NOT USE ON WOOL CARPETS. On stained or heavily soiled areas, pre-spot with a solution ratio of 1:10.

Extraction Method:
Pre-dilute concentrate with water at a ratio of 1:25 and add to solution tank of unit. Depending on pile thickness, 1 gallon of diluted product will clean 500 to 800 square feet of carpet.

Spray-on Method:
Pre-dilute concentrate with water at a ratio of 1:16. Use a pump-up type sprayer and mist the entire carpet with this solution. After area has been covered with product, extract with hot or cold water.
