Prices


All pricing is subject to change without notice. Orders will


be invoiced at the prices prevailing at the time of shipment and


are subject to change without notice.

 


Customers are responsible for payment of all applicable state and


local taxes, or for providing a valid “TX Sales & Use Tax Resale


Certificate” at time of placing order.

 

 

Special Orders


Special/Non-stock orders must meet minimum order quantity


requirements of the manufacturer and may need to be prepaid.


These order may also be charged for incoming freight


and drop ship charges.


A 25% restocking fee will be applied to any return of special


order items.

 

 

Backorders


Backorders are shipped and invoiced as soon as the item(s) are


available, and freight may be added. Backorders of small


dollar value may be held for shipping with next order.

 

Payment Policy


The following forms of payment are accepted: US Funds Only


Checks, Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover

 

 

COD Orders


COD Deliveries / Service will require payment in full to be given


to the Driver / Service Tech at time of delivery. To avoid UPS


COD charges, please provide credit card information for payment


at the time of placing order, or prepay with check.

 

Customer Pick-up Orders


We will attempt to contact any customers who have not picked


up orders, backorders, or repair orders as soon as the items are


available for pickup.

 

 

Free Delivery


Free Delivery service is available for retail customers in the


DFW area. Call for minimum order details and delivery


schedules.

 

 

Freight Policy


Freight charges are the responsibility of the customer and will be


added to all orders, unless shipping arrangements have been


previously arranged. Customers are encourage to provide their own


shipping account number.

 


Inspect packages upon delivery. Notify carrier before they leave


your site if problems arise. All claims are the responsibility of and


processed by the carrier. Scotch Plaid, Inc’s. liability for loss or


damage in transit ceases when the carrier takes possession of the


shipment from Scotch Plaid, Inc.

 


All large orders ship via Common Carrier (FTL and LTL) as well


as UPS freight. Smaller orders are shipped via UPS Ground.

 


Redirected shipments to a different address may result in additional


freight charges.

 


Return Policy


Shortages, lost or damaged goods must be reported within 5


business days. No returns will be allowed after 60 days. No return


of electronic merchandise will be allowed after 30 days. All


returns must be new and in original packaging to be credited. NO


used parts will be credited (Warranties may apply). No returns


will be accepted freight collect. (Restocking fee may apply.)

 

Drum Returns


30 gallon and 55 gallon drums - A $5.00 credit will be applied


towards a customer’s account for each 30 gal. or 55 gal. drum


returned in good condition, with bungs in place, subject to


inspection. 30 gallon and 55 gallon drums - A $5.00 credit will be applied  


towards a customer’s account for each 30 gal. or 55 gal. drum returned in


good condition, with bungs in place, subject to inspection.


(Applies to DFW customers only.)

 

Warranty


Serial Number required where applicable. All parts warranties are


provided by the manufacturer, and not by Scotch Plaid, Inc.


Manufacturers have the right to determine applicable warranty


period and repair and return parts, replace with new parts, and


issue credit for warranty parts.
 

 


Customer is responsible for transportation, labor costs and incidental


expenses in connection with warranty repair or replacements.

 

Payment Terms


All payment and other amounts due will be subject to administrative


late charge of 1.5% per month of the amount not paid within


the terms set for the account. Scotch Plaid, Inc. at its sole


discretion, may place an account on a C.O.D. or Cash basis


should the account become delinquent. Shipments may be delayed

for delinquent accounts. Additional 2% (per transaction) service charge

may apply in the event that the customer requests the reversal of charges

previously authorized on this form.


 

Returned Checks


Customer will be charged a fee of $35 for any payment returned for


any reason.

Scotch Plaid, Inc. reserves the right to correct publishing errors in its


catalogs or any of its website.
